2026 Fall Oregon 90 Day Master Mind Retreat

The most wonderful group of people

It all began with an idea. A vision to not only offer a place for a community of amazing people to learn and advance in their horsemanship skills but also an opportunity to get together and create a sense of connection and build lasting friendships.

The Oregon Retreat for the Fall 2026 90 Day Master Mind was an absolute success. A huge thank you to Chrissa Wright Performance Horses for hosting us. I would also like to give a big shout out to Williamette Wine Country Vineyard Escapes and Blue Hill Cellars. The house we stayed at was absolutely amazing and Kevin was so wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend this property and we will be back to it for sure in the future.

Our retreat started on Friday afternoon with the opportunity to sit in on some lessons which allowed us the chance to learn from Chrissa as she guided some of her clients through some lessons in preparation for an upcoming show. So wonderful so see different people and what they are working on and simply be able to sit and take it all in. The evening ended with a wonderful prime rib dinner at the Long Timber Brewing Company in Monroe where the room was filled with tons of laughter and an incredible meal.

Saturday we started the day with a healthy protein loaded breakfast while enjoying the view from the house and waiting for the fog to burn off a little. Coffee, protein shakes with fresh strawberries, blueberries and blackberries along with wonderful greek yogurt loaded with local apples, pears, a drizzle of honey and some granola. Can’t get a full day of riding in without the proper fuel.

The rest of the day was full of riding, riding and some more riding with a long enough break at 2pm for quick refreshing lunch and some wine tasting during lunch only to head back to the area for some more riding. Everyone got plenty of learning in and for me personally it was so wonderful to see what everyone is working on and see improvements throughout the whole day. The day left us beyond tired and ready to fall into bed with so many things running through our minds.

Sunday started much the same as Saturday. Can’t expect to have a great day when not properly fueled with plenty of protein and some coffee lol. Today was a little bit different as we focused on us after checking in on the horses. We had a wonderful hike planned at Alsea Falls. So often we tend to forget that part of being a great horseman/horsewoman also includes keeping ourselves in good shape. Not only that but don’t we all want to maintain enough strength and energy to enjoy our horses as long as possible?

Alsea Falls was absolutely stunning. Everything from the drive up there to the trails heading to Alsea Falls and Green Peak Falls. As beautiful as the falls were, we all agreed that the very best part was sitting on the swing by the creek and getting lost in the memories of being a little kid enjoying the swing.

Our day came to an end with a later lunch back at the Timber Lodge Brewing Company where we met up with some new friends and enjoyed some great conversation and more connections. All in all I am so very thrilled with how this weekend turned out and the memories we are taking back home with us.

Plans for the next retreat are already in the works for a Feb or March get together in Arizona, because who doesn’t love the beautiful Arizona winter when the rest of the world is freezing their butts off. Be sure to stay tuned for the details coming soon and be sure to join us for the first 2027 retreat. I can’t wait to see everyone and look forward to more memories and new friendships.
